WHY PESTO LEMON? As equally as we love exploring, we have a deep passion for cooking and trying new food. The name originally started on our third date where we cooked homemade pasta together, complete with pesto and lemon. This still stands as our favorite recipe and homemade pasta will forever hold a special part of our story.

Originally born in South Africa, she discovered a love for traveling at a young age. She is a family nurse practitioner and loves connecting with others! She is known for always packing a sweet treat to enjoy at the end of every hike.

John is originally from Phoenix, AZ but calls San Diego home. He spends his weeks working as a business analyst, and prefers weekends in the mountains. You can count on him to make the best pour-over coffee while backpacking, and queue up a solid Spotify playlist for the roadtrip.
